Welcome back to another exciting school year. I am looking forward to a year filled with tremendous possibilities!

I began my teaching career at Alexandra Middle School in September of 2001, and will be entering my ninth year of teaching (wow, how the time flies when you're having fun!). Upon convocating in 1999 with my Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Sociology/Criminology, I realized that my true passion was teaching, and returned (once again) to the University of Alberta to pursue my education degree. After graduating in 2001 with my Bachelor of Education degree, I returned to my hometown of Medicine Hat to teach, and have been at Alexandra ever since!

In my spare time, when I am not coaching the Girls Basketball team, I enjoy spending time with my family (especially my nephew), golfing, gardening, being outdoors, reading, watching hockey (Go OILERS!), and have recently taken up running ~ I completed my first half-marathon in the summer of 2008.
