Mrs. Richelle Thomas graduated from the University of Alberta in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree. From 1994 until 2004 she was actively involved with Redi enterprise, assisting persons with disabilities. In 2003, Mrs. Thomas returned to school and obtained a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge. After a brief stint at Vincent Massey School during the Spring of 2004, Mrs. Thomas joined the Alexandra Junior High teaching staff in September 2004.

In January, 2008 Mrs. Thomas was appointed Acting Mathematics/Science Department Head at Alexandra Junior High School. In August, 2009 Mrs. Thomas was appointed Acting Second Vice-Principal of Alexandra Middle School. And in March, 2010 Mrs. Thomas was appointed First Vice-Principal at Alexandra, commencing in the 2010-2011 school year.

Mrs. Thomas and her husband, Doug, spend most of their time with their two daughters, Alexandra and Victoria. In their spare time they can be found on the ski slope in Kimberly and Fernie.
