Ms. Catherine Scott
2009-2010
Ms. Catherine Scott was born and raised in Medicine Hat. She attended Webster Niblock School from grades one through six and then continued on to Crescent Heights High School for grades seven through twelve. Catherine went on to the University of Lethbridge to pursue her love of music. After many years of meeting fantastic musicians and lifetime friends, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (music) and left the "windy city". Soon after leaving Lethbridge she decided to pursue her love of teaching and enrolled in the U of A/MHC Collaborative Education program in 2006. Catherine came to AMS in 2009 after an unforgettable year teaching grade six at Webster Niblock School. In the summer of 2010 Ms. Scott accepted a position as the Seven Person's School Band teacher.
Ms. Scott loves to sing, dance, and perform. When she doesn't have her dancing shoes on, she usually has on a pair of running shoes. She thoroughly enjoys ALL sports, however, for the past twelve years she has enjoyed coaching downhill ski racing and running. This fall she will complete her 5th marathon and concentrate on an ultra run in the spring. Her #1 trainer and partner is her black lab, Dakota. On weekends, Catherine can be found visiting and eating at the family farm near Orion.
