Michele Mastel had been teaching at Alexandra Junior High School since January 2001. She primariy taught Science, Math, PE and Rec. Ed. She graduated from the University of Lethbridge where she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree majoring in Biology as well as a Bachelor of Education Degree with Distinction. Michele returned to AMS in September 2008 after having spent the previous year off with her son Keene. In her free time Ms Mastel reported that she loved spending time with her growing family, friends, training for the triathalon ("splashes, dashes, and sizers"), and playing with Keene and his favorite toys. He especially loved Buzz Lightyear and T-Rex.
