Mr. Chad Frey obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin while on a baseball scholarship before completing his Masters of Education at the University of Calgary (April, 2003). After graduating, he taught Math and Physical Education at the YMCA Community Learning Center. Mr. Frey continued his teaching career at AJHS, starting up the Hockey Canada Skills Academy and Baseball Academy.

He enjoyed sports and coached the Medicine Hat High School Mohawks baseball team and the American Legion Medicine Hat Knights. In his spare time, Chad enjoyed playing tennis, ping pong, baseball, wednesday night bowling league, mini sticks, and outdoor "pursuits".
