Looking for a night on the town? Come check out the AMS music department at the Monarch Theatre on December 15th. Pick up some popcorn and a beverage at the door and head into the theatre for some classic movie repertoire. The grade seven band will start the show at 7:30. Listen for one of Disney’s greatest hits, a popular holiday jingle and a rockin’ dinosaur. At 8:00 the choir will take the stage to perform very unique arrangements of three classic seasonal songs. Around 8:15 the grade eight band plans to “wow” you with four of their favourite movie theme songs. The low brass will make you tremble and the upper woodwinds will make you want to dance. Students are to be at the theatre, ready to rehearse at 6:30 pm. Students are to dress in any black/white combination. House doors will open at 7:15.
